A new season of Milwaukee Bucks basketball is fast approaching, and while it may be missing fans in the sands for at least a chunk of the games, you can still be a part of the game by auditioning to sing the national anthem at home games at Fiserv Forum.

Today through Jan. 11, the Bucks will accept video auditions of singers and musicians – professional, amateurs or even those who just love singing in the shower – performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" to be played at home games this upcoming season before tip-off.

Videos must feature "The Star-Spangled Banner" (or the Canadian national anthem, for when the Toronto Raptors come to town) in its entirety, and must be shot in landscape mode with high-quality audio to be considered. Auditioners under the age of 18 will also need permission from their legal guardian.

Upload your anthem over at Greenfly – and for more information on the auditioning and selection process, click here. And get ready for tip-off on the new season on Dec. 23 against the Celtics in Boston!

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
