The Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs are once again teaming up to "Block Out Hunger" statewide. In celebration of its upcoming 45th anniversary, Cousins will donate $45 to Hunger Task Force for every blocked shot the Bucks have throughout the season.

Last season, the Bucks ranked seventh in the NBA in blocked shots with 475 – resulting in a $10,000 Cousins Subs donation to Hunger Task Force for emergency food supplies throughout Wisconsin.

"The fight against hunger is an important cause to both the Bucks and our great partners at Cousins Subs," said Matt Pazaras, Bucks senior vice president of business development and strategy. "Our relationship with Cousins goes beyond basketball to truly make a difference in our community. After a successful 'Block Out Hunger' campaign last season, we’re thrilled to join together once again to drive awareness and raise funds benefiting a fantastic organization in Hunger Task Force."

Cousins Subs joined the roster of Bucks corporate partners prior to the 2015-16 season. In addition to supporting the "Block Out Hunger" initiative, Cousins operates a kiosk on the concourse of the BMO Harris Bradley Center as well as awards fans with coupons and prizes during home game activities. Starting in January 2017, Cousins will also run its second annual "Super Sub" promotion, in which fans are invited to vote for their top Bucks performers off the bench for the chance to win Cousins Subs for a year and an exclusive "eat and greet" with their favorite Bucks reserve.

"By teaming up with the Bucks to 'Block Out Hunger,' we are able to reach and impact more families in need of healthy and nutritious meals throughout Wisconsin," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs. "We are excited for the 2016-17 season as we work together to better our local community and bring fans local flavor."
