Members of the Bay View Historical Society and fellow donors are cleaning house for their upcoming yard sale benefit, held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at the Beulah Brinton House, 2590 S. Superior St.

The sale will feature a boutique of furniture, antiques, toys and other household items, plus a book shop and refreshments both on the lawn and inside the house. Shoppers will also be able to pick up their own BVHS merchandise at the second-floor gift shop.

Admission is free and open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit the society's programs and ownership of the historic house.

People interested in doing some spring cleaning of their own can also donate pre-priced items starting Monday, May 16. All donations, except clothing, shoes and holiday items, can be dropped off at the Beulah Brinton House garage. Arrangements for pick-up of large or heavy items can be made by calling (414) 324-5690.
