A new, eight-acre corn maze called Lost Bearings Corn Maze opens this week at Bear Paw Beach in Caledonia. The opening day is Friday, Sept. 11 at 12 p.m.

The corn maze will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until November 1 with family-friendly activities including pedal bikes, jumping pillows, a pumpkin patch, maze games, archery, a "haunted" trail and a nighttime flashlight maze.

The attraction also includes apple cannons that launch the fruits nearly 100 mph at targets.

"We enjoy creating unique experiences for families. What better way to enjoy time together than by shooting some apples at targets?" said Randy Isaacson, owner of Lost Bearings Corn Maze.

Tickets for Lost Bearings Corn Maze can be purchased in advance here or upon arrival. Hours are Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
