Since DiBrito's East Side Car Wash, 2124 N. Farwell Ave., closed in 2006 I've been on a bit of a quest to find a good, convenient car wash close to Downtown.
Not just a drive-through gas station wash, of which there are several, but a good inside/out wash that really cleans out the car and gives you a bit of that new car feel and smell.
I've found Jimbo's Car Wash, 310 E. Capitol Dr., to be a good option. It's not too far from the office or home and the people are very nice. More here.
Yet, I still long for another option or two. You know, for those sunny winter (and summer) days when you just really want a clean car.
