"Cash Mob MKE" is a weekly event – dare we call it a movement – that encourages folks to order from the same place on the same day and/or evening. The goal is to provide the restaurant with a stellar, sellout night, and in return, we get a delicious meal made with local love.

The next Cash Mob MKE (#cashmobmke) will take place this Wednesday, March 3 at the locally-owned Hue Vietnamese Restaurant in Bay View, 2691 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.

#cashmobmke deets:

  • Hue Bay View is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Menu: right here
  • Carry-out or third-party delivery is also available.
  • Please order online.

This week, Vietnamese food is the future for Cash Mobbers. Hue, owned by a local wife-and-husband team, Cat Tran and Mark Nielsen, was the first Vietnamese restaurant to open in Bay View in 2010. Since then, they have earned the rep of having the best pho in the city.

Never tried Vietnamese food? Pho and bahn mi are a great place to start. Otherwise, we suggest getting adventuresome: both the Bun Thit Nuong (beef noodle bowl) and Sa Xao Chay (lemongrass tofu and veggie meat) is spectacular.
