There are changes on the way for Lucid Light Lounge, 729 N. Milwaukee St.
SURG Restaurant Group has announced that, beginning this week, Lucid will be open to the public Thursday thru Saturday evenings from 8 p.m. to close. The venue will also begin to eliminate food service, focusing more acutely on the bar and hookah offerings.
Specials like Girls Night Out, featuring $3 martinis and $5 Grey Goose and Red Bull mixers, will take place on Thursday evenings beginning at 10 p.m. On Fridays, Lucid will feature $5 glasses of wine.
The impetus for the change is a desire to more effectively showcase the space as a nightlife destination, as well as accommodate the demand for the space in conjunction with the adjacent banquet facility, The Garden.
Lucid will now be available for rental with The Garden space Sunday thru Wednesday each week.
