Looking for the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f*cking Kaye? Look no further than the Riverside on Friday, Dec. 27 where Clark Griswold himself Chevy Chase will bring a screening of the holiday classic "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" in honor of the film's 30th anniversary.
And in case that's not enough to turn you into the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse, after the 7:30 p.m. screening, Chase will take the stage for a special live Q&A, talking about his long and impressive career in comedy across film and television.
Tickets for the show – including a limited number of VIP tickets which include a post-performance photo with Chevy Chase – go on sale beginning at noon on Friday, Oct. 18. For more information, visit the Riverside's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
