Due to construction delays, the opening date for the new Chubby's Cheesesteaks at Bay Shore Mall has been delayed until early summer, according to information from general manager Jessica Kreidl.
However, Kreidl says that a fourth location is also in the works. The new shop, which will open at 124th Street and Capitol Drive in Brookfield, is scheduled to open beginning this fall.
Both new locations, Kreidl adds, will serve up the full Chubby's Cheesesteaks menu, including cheesesteak sandwiches, sausages, burgers, breakfast options and dinner entrees including fried chicken and fish fry.
However, both locations will also be adding a brand new option: pizza from a new stone-fired pizza oven.
"We are very excited to be able to join the Glendale and Brookfield communities," Kreidl notes. "We are also in the process of finding locations to open in Madison and Oak Creek, plus locations in Florida, Arizona and California. We hope that this locally owned Wisconsin restaurant can soon become a household name across the country."
Chubby's Cheesesteaks currently maintains locations on Milwaukee's east side at 2232 N. Oakland Ave., as well as on the west side at 2147 Miller Park Way.
