With the number of excellent, local Mexican bars and restaurants we could argue that everyday is Cinco de Mayo in Milwaukee, but it’s even more fun to recognize a holiday that demands we eat tacos and drink margaritas midweek.

Any Mexican restaurant will welcome your business this Thursday and here's a list of some possibilities. So eat, drink and celebrate responsibly and respectfully.

Newsroom Pub, the bar connected to the SafeHouse, will debut a new menu item aptly called Cinco de Mayo. The $10 margarita flight will feature mango, strawberry, pineapple and classic lime margaritas. $4 taco specials and $5 Palomas are also in the mix.
