Libby’s Lounge, a bar and grill located at 1682 N. Van Buren St., has closed.  

The bar, owned by Dennis "Libby" Librizzi, opened in 1968 and was known for its spaghetti lunch special, fish fry and televised sports.

A new business, Van Buren Sports Bar and Grill, has applied for a tavern license in order to take over the space.
