In a phone conversation this morning, OnMilwaukee.com learned that Goldi, 4114 N. Oakland Ave., is closing.

Owners Mark and Goldi Miller started the local women's boutique and gift shop in 1972. The store had a variety of locations – including the Grand Avenue mall and Bayshore – before settling into its current location in Shorewood.

The last day of business will be Jan. 15.
