Coco Bella, 1323 E. Brady St., closed quietly about a month ago. A drive past reveals a dark restaurant and the phone has been disconnected.

The former Vucciria, owned by the Megna family that also owns Mimma's, became Coco Bella in March. While Vucciria focused on pizzas, Coco Bella has an expanded menu.

"Overall, we wanted to create more of a restaurant feel," owner Maria Megna, who worked for 12 years at Mimma's, told OnMilwaukee.com in March. "We want to provide a comfortable, affordable place where people can eat more than once a week."
