Colectivo Coffee’s Lakefront Cafe, located at 1701 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr., will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 3 to accommodate a number of updates to the space.

Changes include expansion of the back of house area – including the addition of a third steam wand for coffee service – an additional oven for food production and a third register at the barista counter.

The cafe will also be introducing Colectivo Keg Co. beer to its offerings. In Milwaukee, beer is currently available at Colectivo’s Third Ward and 68th Street Wauwatosa locations, making the Lakefront Cafe the third cafe to add brews to its menu.

Most changes, notes shift leader Jim Carey, are meant to improve efficiency for the cafe, which has grown in popularity over the years.

The Lakefront Cafe’s normal hours are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
