These can be stressful, overwhelming times, and we want to help – so to start your day with a smile, we're going to post five funny viral videos and memes every morning. Because there's no better time for a good laugh than during bad times, and we believe in starting the day on the right foot even when things feel like they're all going wrong.

Enjoy – then be safe, be smart and be healthy. We're in this together.

1. Igniting conversation

Money can't buy you happiness ... but it can buy you a candle warmer and your husband's utter exasperation.

Let's admire the real winner in this conversation: the guy who finally sold his first candle warmer.

2. Spit take

Nothing good can come from trying to duplicate an online trend. Case in point:

(*cut to 20 years from now*): "And doctor, we think this repressed memory is why I've had a visceral hatred of Reddi Whip all these years?"

3. Personal trainer

I don't know, the pupper still seems more relaxed and less annoying than your normal Peloton instructor.

4. The daily dog (slide!)

Sometimes it's grey outside and it's a Tuesday, so you just need a whole bunch of dogs gently going down a twisty slide.

My favorite part is all of the puppos gathering at the bottom of the slide like a welcoming committee. Dogs are the best. Tuesdays, on the other hand ...

5. Web gem

Baseball features some remarkable moments of physical ability ... and also moments like this.

So close.

Bonus breather

To help you cope with the rest of your day, here's a little bonus breathing exercise to calm the nerves and provide a little digital therapy.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
