We first told you about Coyote Ugly in August, but today the company officially announced it would open its first Milwaukee location at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 1131 N. Water St.

The chain's "Coyote Search" for "talented, sexy and witty (bartender) applicants" will be held February 4 and 5, from noon to 5 p.m. at the bar.

"I'm so excited to open in Milwaukee" Lovell said. "Coyote Ugly's roots are beer drinkers and motorcycles, and I have a feeling there are a few of those in Milwaukee. Hell, Milwaukee is home to Miller, Harley, and now Coyote Ugly Saloon!" She continued, "Water Street is Milwaukee's famous entertainment district and as the most famous bar on the planet, the new Coyote Ugly Saloon will be in the heart of it all," said founder Liliana "Lil" Lovell.
