The new location of Crawdaddy's is nearly complete. In fact, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening of its new location at 9427 W. Greenfield Ave. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m.

The fact that the (re)opening coincides with Fat Tuesday won't be lost on fans of the popular cajun and creole restaurant, which always gussied things up for the Mardi Gras holiday at its old location on 64th and Greenfield.

The restaurant, which closed in 2013 after almost 20 years in business, hopes to bring new life to the former space which once housed Big Dogs Sports Grill.

Owner Jonathan Klug says the remodel has been extensive and that the new space will be "truly unique."

Watch OnMilwaukee for a preview of the space very soon.
