The Crimson Club, a nightclub, restaurant and venue at 7211 W. Greenfield Ave., will open in August. The exact date is not yet available.
"We like West Allis and since there isn’t a club in the downtown area, we thought it would be a good fit for what we want to do," says co-owner Jeff Krueger.
The club will serve healthy "bites" and mix its drinks with all-natural / organic soda and juices.
"We will provide well-crafted drinks from the classics to creative drinks and our bar-bite menu will focus on fresh and locally-sourced options," says Jennifer Krueger, another of the owners.
All three of the owners have backgrounds in health care, wellness and safety. Lisa Lewis is a certified yoga teacher, Jennifer Krueger is a registered nurse, and her husband Jeff is a Milwaukee firefighter, who also has been a private entertainment DJ for more than 25 years.
Yoga and dance classes will also take place in the space which will primarily serve as a nightclub for professionals over 25. "People who are frustrated with impossible parking Downtown will appreciate a place that is safe, clean and fun," says Lewis.
Jennifer Krueger adds, "Coming here will be a mini-vacation from their everyday life!"
Crimson Club will open at 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon on the weekends.
