South Milwaukee soon will be the home of a brand new bronze statue of professional wrestler and South Milwaukee native Reggie "Da Crusher" Lisowski. The statue will be unveiled during "Crusherfest," June 8-9, and the full schedule of the free event is here.

Today, I had the honor of attending the "pouring of Da Crusher" at Vanguard Sculpture Services, 3374 W. Hopkins St. According to its sign, Vanguard is "the best fine art foundry on planet earth." 

The statue will be made from nine molds, and the first three were poured today. OnMilwaukee took a FB Live of the entire experience (see below) but here are a few still shots from before and right after the pouring process.
