Where can you find three distilleries, nine breweries and a boat-load of cheese?

... at Curds & Kegs, of course. The first annual event will be held at the West Allis Farmers Market, 6501 W. National Ave. on Thursday, June 8 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The event will feature sampling of over 80 cheeses from some of Wisconsin’s best cheese makers, along with spirits and over 30 styles of beer. A variety of products will also be available for purchase.

Cheeses will include selections from Wisconsin creameries including the Artisan Cheese Exchange, BelGioioso, Caprine, Carr Valley, Cedar Grove, Clock Shadow, Decator, Holland Family Farms, LaClare Farms, Pine River, Red Barn, Roth, Sartori, Union, Uplands and Widmer.

Distilleries will include Great Lakes Distillery and Twisted Path along with North Woods from Coleman, Wisconsin. Meanwhile, beer will be provided by Cedarburg's Fermentorium, Good City, Lakefront, Milwaukee Brewing Co., Mobcraft, Raised Grain, Sprecher, Third Space and West Allis' own Westallion.

Tickets are just $10 in advance – available at the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe, 6832 West Becher St. – or $15 at the door. All proceeds will benefit local West Allis charitable organizations.
