This morning, Summerfest added another act to its list of 2016 Marcus Amphitheater headliners: '80s rockers Def Leppard, who will be joined on stage by special guests REO Speedwagon and Tesla on Wednesday, July 6.
The "Pour Some Sugar On Me" rockers – currently comprised of Joe Elliott, Vivian Campbell, Phil Collen, Rick "Sav" Savage and Rick Allen – last hit the Summerfest main stage back in 2011 alongside Heart.
Tickets for the show go on sale beginning on Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. As always, tickets include general Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers and Walmart stores, as well as online at Ticketmaster.com and over the phone either through the Summerfest box office (1-414-273-2600), through a live Ticketmaster agent (1-800-745-3000) or through Ticketmaster's automated ticket line (1-866-448-7849).
There will also be a Summerfest Stay Connected presale for those who receive Summerfest email news alerts or follow the Big Gig on Facebook or Twitter. The presale will run from 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 through 10 p.m. or until the presale inventory has run out.
Def Leppard joins a Summerfest lineup that currently includes Selena Gomez, Sting and Peter Gabriel, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and the combined forces of Weezer and Panic! At the Disco. Stay tuned for more Big Gig headliners and performers as they're announced.
