The fourth annual Doggy Day, sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Yutka Fence, will return to Deer District on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The fourth annual event will include 80 local vendors, food trucks, beverages, a dog treat trailer, entertainment from DJ Gee-A, prizes and activities. Local radio personalities, Alley and DZ, will host the event.

Doggy Day is free and open to the public and their well-socialized, leashed dogs. The event organizers ask owners to refrain from retractable leashes and aversive collars.

Doggy Day is a benefit for Winston’s Wishes and its mission to help local pups in need. This year, Doggy Day will honor Winston, the namesake of the rescue organization, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge.

Winston’s Wishes is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that supports dogs who struggle in the busy shelter environment, senior dogs and dogs who need extra care.
