Marquette point guard Dominic James withdrew his name from consideration for the NBA Draft and will return to the Golden Eagles for his junior season.

James, whose decision was first reported by the Journal Sentinel, did not attract a lot of attention from NBA scouts and was not guaranteed to be drafted.

The Golden Eagles will practice later this week in preparation for a trip to Vancouver. James also will join teammates Wesley Matthews and Jerel McNeal at tryouts for the US Pan Am Games team.
