It was my 2011 Milwaukee event pick of the year. So I'm thrilled that Historic Milwaukee's Doors Open Milwaukee event will be back again this year.

Mark Sept. 22-23 on your calendars as you'll have the chance to tour several iconic buildings in Downtown Milwaukee. A preliminary list is here. Many of the locations offer exclusive access and views that aren't normally available to the general public.

It's all free, too, and most buildings will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

See you there.
