In October, several news outlets reported that Taco Bell was testing a new taco using a shell made from Nacho Cheese Doritos.

Today, a headline on Nation's Restaurant News confirms this, saying that the fast food restaurant is focused "on future with new taco."

It's called the Doritos Locos Taco.

"There are 34 different bun types in the quick-service category and only one kind of taco shell," Taco Bell chief executive Greg Creed told investors and NRN.

Interesting point, for sure.  Flavored taco shells?  The possibilities are endless.
