Known for making high-quality lagers, pilsners, hefeweizens and other German, Czech and Belgian beer styles, Chicago's Dovetail Brewery – a virtual tour of which was a highlights of this year's online Lager & Friends festival – is sought after among Milwaukee beer fans.

Dovetail isn't selling in Milwaukee yet, which means you've gotta head south to grab some. But ... this morning the brewery piqued our curiosity with this tweet:

Turns out, Dovetail's sales team is making a run up to Brew City today to do a beer drop at a local store.

"It's ... exciting for us, since it's our first time in Wisconsin," says Dovetail's Jenny Pfafflin. "And we love Wisconsin.

"There's a small drop of Helles and Hefeweizen going to Tourist Convenience on Wells. Should be available this afternoon. We hope it's the beginning of Dovetail beers being available in one of our favorite lager cities."

Tourist Convenience is located at 240 W. Wells St.

He who hesitates is lost.

Support craft brewers and while you're there, pick up something made in Milwaukee, too.
