MILWAUKEE – Editor & Publisher Magazine, along with 81 judges, named OnMilwaukee the winner of two 2015 EPPY Awards this afternoon.

The daily and magazine and city guide took home the awards for Best Digital Magazine on a Website and Best Online Media Kit with under 1 million unique monthly visitors.

2015 marks the third EPPY-winning year for OnMilwaukee. The Milwaukee media company also took top honors in 2012 and 2008, and was a finalist in 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2014. OnMilwaukee is the only publication in Wisconsin to win an award this year.

"We’ve worked hard every day for more than 17 years to build a product we all believe in," said OnMilwaukee co-founder and publisher Andy Tarnoff. "It’s great to be recognized by our peers again, both in producing the magazine and telling our corporate story through our new media kit."

"It’s a collaborative process of more than 15 people here at OnMilwaukee," said co-founder and president Jeff Sherman. "Web, social, mobile – everyone truly played a part in this honor, and we thank them all."

This year's EPPY Awards saw more than 400 entries competing in 31 diverse categories. A complete list of all winners can be found here.

Now in its 20th year, the EPPYs honor the best media-affiliated websites, as well as three categories for college and university journalism. New categories this year include honors for Best Digital Magazine, Best Online Media Kit and Best Business Reporting on a Website. Each entry to the EPPYS is judged on its own merits within a particular category. In order to be a finalist, entries must receive a score in the top one-third of the average score across all categories within their division (1 million and over unique monthly visitors, and under 1 million unique monthly visitors).
