St. Louis-born, Kenosha-based Everett Thomas is the latest singer/songwriter making a splash in the Midwest. Fresh off the release of his first record, "Visions of the Sea," the 25-year-old Thomas has nowhere to go but up. His soulful, yet fragile voice and his poetic lyrics on "Visions" grab your ear as he takes you on a musical journey that grows as he did over the past five years.

Thomas sat down with Sound Pass at Mindpool Live's headquarters to talk about his initial release, his approach to songwriting, and how he fell into playing music.

Sound Pass with Everett Thomas is produced by Mindpool Live, with a special thanks to Skies Fall records.
