We're back to give you a couple of players to push into your starting lineup or move to your bench, along with a sleeper pick.
Now, you're not going to find "start Adrian Peterson" here. If you drafted a player in the first five rounds, chances are those are your go-to players, so we'll try to give you some less-than-obvious choices to bolster your lineup every week.
On that note, here we go for Week 6:
Start 'em
Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback vs. Oakland
The Chiefs are rolling and Smith is playing at a high level, a trend that should continue into this week. Despite intercepting San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers three times, the Raiders still allowed him to throw for 411 yards and two touchdowns. In the previous four weeks, the Raiders allowed eight total TDs (7 passsing, 1 rushing) to opposing quarterbacks.
Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears wide receiver vs. New York Giants
Jeffery has exploded the last three weeks, catching 22 passes out of 32 targets for 376 yards and 2 TDs. Jeffery won't duplicate his 10-catch, 218-yard effort on Sunday despite favorable matchup against a terrible Giants team, mainly because Brandon Marshall is pouting and Jay Cutler will make an effort to get the Bears No. 1 the ball. But, Jeffery will get his looks and is venturing into weekly-play territory. Remember, this game is Thursday night.
Sit 'em
Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback vs. Tampa Bay
It looks like Foles will get the start as Michael Vick recovers from a hamstring injury, but he isn't exactly a surefire bet to be a fantasy starter this week. He played well in relief but the Buccaneers are coming off a bye and have limited quarterbacks through the first four weeks. Drew Brees and Tom Brady combined for three touchdowns and three interceptions against Tampa Bay and the Bucs have forced seven total turnovers out of opposing quarterbacks.
Austin Pettis, St. Louis Rams wide receiver vs. Houston
Don't chase Pettis' production against the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars from last week (two touchdowns on four catches). People keep waiting for someone, anyone, to emerge as a fantasy threat out of St. Louis but it's just not happening. The Texans are facing a must-win situation at home and that prideful group only allowed San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick to throw for 113 yards last week.
Sleeper pick
Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end vs. New York Jets
The Steelers finally established a running game with the return of rookie Le'Veon Bell, which should open things up even more in the passing game. The Steelers are also facing a Jets team that has allowed tight ends to get into the end zone. Miller might be a sneaky play if you're looking for a bye week filler.
