Saturday marked a festival in the farmland, for the farmland, as Farm Aid – and its star-studded lineup – rocked into the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy for a day-long party.
Willie Nelson and family served as Saturday's headlining act, but the entire set was loaded with top-tier talent from the worlds of country, Americana, rock and folk – including Luke Combs, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and many more. Saturday's event, however, wasn't just about putting on a great show, as Farm Aid celebrated another year of raising awareness for struggling family farms as well as raising funds to help keep those families working and prospering on their land.
The concert may have come to close, but we see no reason to stop the party. So here's a gallery of photos from last night's Farm Aid spectacular – courtesy of photographer Ty Helbach.
