Flux Design, 811 E. Vienna Ave., is gearing up to bowl over hunger this Friday with "Feed Your Soul 2010," an art fundraiser to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, formerly America's Second Harvest of Wisconsin.
The evening's festivities will be part art exhibit and part silent auction, featuring a unique collection of donated wooden bowls created by local artists and designers. Those in attendance will be able to view the designs and bid on their favorites throughout the night. Winning bidders will also be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Coalesse Bob Chair.
"Feed Your Soul 2010" will also feature music by DJ D-On, appetizers, a cash bar and a special performance by poet Ed Makowski. New this year, the event will also host specialty t-shirt printing.
Tickets for the event, which runs from 8 to 11 p.m., are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. All proceeds from the fundraiser will help support the efforts of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
