Local women's business organization and network FemCity Milwaukee will hold its launch event Jan. 18, 2012 at Indulge Wine Room, 708 N. Milwaukee St.
The two-hour networking event, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will also serve as a winter item drive to benefit the YWCA's transitional housing program. All attendees are asked to bring a fleece hat, gloves, scarf or blanket to the event. Each donation will also earn one free raffle ticket.
Registration for the launch event is $20 for FemCity members and $25 for non-members. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale for $5 or three for $10 at the event, and each attendee will receive a swag bag with goodies from local vendors.
