Milwaukee-based band Field Report has signed with Brooklyn record label Partisan Records. The band is scheduled to release their self-titled debut album Sept. 11.

Chris Porterfield, formerly of DeYarmond Edison (whose members included Justin Vernon/Bon Iver and Megafaun), and his band will also join Emmylou Harris and Counting Crows on tour this summer. Field Report is scheduled to play the BMO Harris Pavilion in advance of Counting Crows' July 25 performance.
