Getting healthy and working up a sweat at Fiserv Forum: It's not just for the guys playing on the court. It'll happen off the court too this summer as the Downtown arena announced the return of its Fitness in the Plaza series, hosting free fitness sessions in the middle of Deer District starting May 3.
Deer District originally introduced the outdoor fitness series in summer of 2019.
Courtesy of Barre Milwaukee, Shred415 and YogaSix, classes will take place outside Fiserv Forum on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through Sept. 2. Here's the schedule for the summer:
- Mondays – 6-7 p.m. with Barre Milwaukee
- Tuesdays – 7-8 a.m. with Shred415, 6-7 p.m. with YogaSix
- Thursdays – 6-7 p.m. with Shred415
An important note: While all Barre Milwaukee and YogaSix workouts are free throughout the summer series, only the first Shred415 is free while any additional classes will cost a fee.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
