New trellises, designed by Kim Cridler, Steve Feren, Beth Sahagian, Peter Flanary and Flux Design, have been installed on the east and west sides of the Milwaukee River between Kilbourn and Wells on the Milwaukee Riverwalk.

The trellises will be planted with various types of vining plants, and foliage should mature in 1-2 years.

In other Riverwalk news, RiverSculpture, the annual public art collection, will be installed in early June at locations on or near the river from Clybourn Street north to Juneau Avenue.
