Melissa Escobar rolled out her food truck, Taco Barrio, for the first time in August of 2021. The colorful truck is often parked at 1st Street and Greenfield Avenue in Walker's Point.

Escobar's creations include Mexican staples like tacos and burritos, along with pambazos, ramen, tortas and more. 

Taco Barrio will be at Food Truck Fest on Saturday, July 22.

Melissa Escobar: Birria ramen, quesabirrias and the "Flamin' Burro" – a burrito made with hot Cheetos.

Do you offer vegan, veggie or gluten-free items?

Yes, the loaded nachos and the corn tortilla tacos can both be made vegetarian.

Where can people find your truck?

On 1st and Greenfield in Walker's Point and at many events during the summer. The best way to know is through our Facebook page.

If you could park anywhere in the world for one day where would it be?

Somewhere in Canada or Europe.
