Congregation Shalom, the largest Reform Jewish Congregation in Wisconsin, has announced the date for an annual event to take place at Doctors Park, 1870 E. Fox Ln., on Friday, Aug. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Food Truck Shabbat is a family friendly evening which includes a family Shabbat (sabbath) service, delicious food from Milwaukee area food trucks and vendors and music from Shorewood’s own School of Rock.

Food trucks featured at this free event include Yellow Bellies, Eats & Treats, Falafel Guys, Simmer Milwaukee, Marco Pollo Global Chicken, and Cedarburg Popcorn Company.

When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
