Fran Lebowitz is a bottomless cup of hilarious, intelligent and often biting commentary. Last night during her 90-minute interview and Q-and-A session at the Pabst Theater, she expressed her disdain for the Supreme Court, modern technology, children, the lack of bookstores in Midtown Manhattan, the illusion of happiness and more.

But one thing she expressed her approval of was the "backstage coffee" she had prior to the show.

Known for her heavy caffeine and nicotine intake, this is a big compliment for a Milwaukee roastery from a persnickety New Yorker. Kevin Sloan, chef for the Pabst Theater group's venues, confirmed the coffee was Colectivo.

"Other than when I make my own – I am the Albert Einstein of coffee making – I had the best backstage coffee to date tonight," she told the audience.

She also – somewhat condescendingly – called Milwaukee "cute," but hey, she digs our beans.
