When the Green Bay Packers are doing well and are known for being one of the toughest teams in the league, local media outlets scramble to come up with special programming.

It is usually the ability to attract advertising sponsors and an audience that fuels the launch for 16 or more weeks of production.

Good Karma Brands’ ESPN Wisconsin and Destination Kohler are teaming up to present a new radio show featuring former Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame wide receiver Antonio Freeman.

"The End Zone with Antonio Freeman" will air live from the historic Horse & Plow tap room at The American Club in Kohler.

"It’s exciting for us to add another Packers Hall of Famer to our team," said ESPN Milwaukee GM Shane Blackman. "The Horse & Plow is a perfect location for the live broadcast, and The American Club is an amazing destination for any Wisconsin sports fan."

The one-hour show will air at 6 p.m. on Monday nights starting on Sept. 8 on WAUK-AM 540 ESPN in Milwaukee, WTLX-FM 100.5 ESPN Madison and ESPNWisconsin.com.

"We’re pleased to partner with ESPN Wisconsin to launch ‘The End Zone with Antonio Freeman,’" said Michael Belot, general manager of Destination Kohler. "The Horse & Plow is a great venue for this type of show. With its rich Wisconsin history and high-energy atmosphere, I have no doubt ‘The End Zone’ will be a popular Monday night event."

ESPN Wisconsin’s Alex Petakas will join Freeman on ‘The End Zone,’ which will feature guests from professional football in front of a live audience. Petakas and Freeman will analyze the previous week’s game and take questions from fans.

"Horse & Plow, The American Club’s historic tap room and once a bowling alley for immigrant workers who lived in Kohler, is today a casual brew pub with a creative menu and 19 craft beers on tap. ‘The End Zone with Antonio Freeman’ is free for fans who wish to sit in the general seating areas of Horse & Plow," according to the release.

"VIP seating in the lower level of the bar or upper deck seating overlooking the lounge is available, but has a minimum food and beverage spend."

SPEAKING OF ESPN WISCONSIN: Mitch Nelles, the long-time co-host with Steve "The Homer" True in the afternoon drive time, has parted ways with the AM sports talk station.

"Homer and Thunder" ran on ESPN stations in Madison and Milwaukee.

"Dear friends, family and fans, I am happy and nervously excited to announce that after almost a decade of home runs, touchdowns and slam dunks, ESPN Wisconsin and I are moving forward taking separate paths," Nelles posted on Facebook.

"Thank you to everyone at ESPN Wisconsin and Good Karma Brands for the fantastic times I spent there. And thank you to everyone who e-mailed in, called, tweeted and facebooked. Your interaction is what makes sports radio special.

"Stay tuned for more on my next chapter. Working with the amazing friends, mentors and connections that I've developed over the years, I'm excited to find the next place for Thunder to roll. Thanks to everyone, Mitch "Thunder" Nelles."

BENGHAZI: On Friday, Fox News will present, "13 Hours at Benghazi – The Inside Story," a documentary hosted by FNC’s chief political anchor Bret Baier, at 9 p.m.

The hour-long program will feature an interview with the American security operatives who fought on the ground during the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, on Sep. 11, 2012. Revealing their identities and speaking publicly for the first time, the men will share what happened during the fighting at a U.S. diplomatic compound and at a secret CIA annex nearby.

Based on the book, "13 HOURS: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi," by Mitchell Zuckoff with the Annex Security Team, the documentary will provide an extensive, first-hand view of the threats the men faced over the course of the thirteen hours that night.

The documentary will re-air at 4 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 6 and at 8 p.m. on Sept. 7.
