Tacos, anyone?

Boston outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury stole second base in the bottom of the fourth inning in Game 2 of the World Series Thursday night at Fenway Park.

That means that everyone in the country can ask for a free taco between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion, which recalls George Webb's famous Brewers' burger guarantee, accomplished its mission. Taco Bell got a lot of free publicity and will pick up ancillary business during the three-hour giveaway.

The promotion is "open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia only," awards a "free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco" to visitors of participating Taco Bell restaurants around the country between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
