Fyndig, the "responsible fashion" boutique for men and women will close its Shorewood location at the end of January.
It opened in Shorewood in 2013 in a space in the Cornerstone building, 4508 N. Oakland Ave., first occupied by Boutique B'lou.
Since its opening, the family-owned and operated business has added new clothing lines and furniture and stayed true to its responsible fashion mantra by holding local events, working with sustainable designers and becoming a part of the community.
"The space we are at now just ended up being too big for us, so we are going to downsize and change up our business plan a little bit," said Lindsay Carlson.
"Our last day there is Jan. 30 so hopefully we find something soon," added Carlson who also noted that Fyndig is looking at Third Ward, Fox Point and several pop-up shop options.
