Jim Gaffigan is no stranger to Milwaukee.

Jeannie Gaffigan, his partner in both life and comedy, hails from the Cream City herself, and over the past 10 years, the comedian – who can most commonly be seen on TV as Col. Sanders, shelling out chicken for KFC – has made it an annual ritual to drop into town on New Year's for a set of shows (and is already scheduled to do so again this year at The Pabst Theater). He's even previously professed his appreciation for Kopp's.

Based on the following video posted to Instagram, chronicling some grade schoolers' projects about their favorite destinations, it would seem that Milwaukee love has rubbed off a bit on his daughter Katie, as well.

When your daughter can write about her favorite destination and she chooses Milwaukee.

That's right; of all the exotic locales the planet Earth has to offer, wise, young Katie Gaffigan chose Milwaukee as her favorite. Take that, Disneyworld! Call us when you've got curds and custard! And did you see Chicago amongst that array of children's travel guides? No. No, you did not. Nowhere in sight.

A thank-you to Katie for the kind in-school shout-out, and a gentle nudge in the direction of Visit Milwaukee, because, really, buy that thing up, make copies and, congratulations, you now have the most endearingly adorable advertisement for the city that one could possibly imagine.

For more Jim Gaffigan, check out season two of "The Jim Gaffigan Show" on TV Land starting June 22 and check out tickets for his three New Year's shows at The Pabst Theater here. And for more of Jim Gaffigan's five children being delightful, here's a video of them taking the stage in Milwaukee back in 2014.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
