Third time's the charm for Giannis Antetokounmpo, as not only was the Bucks star   voted to his third NBA All-Star Game today but he scored the most fan votes of all players in the Eastern Conference, earning him the title of captain for the first time.

Giannis also earned the most player votes with 269, tied for the second-most votes from media members with 99 and the second-most fan votes overall, behind only LeBron James of the Western Conference's Los Angeles Lakers.

"Being named a starter and captain for the All-Star Game is a tremendous honor for Giannis as he continues to assert himself as one of the premier players in the NBA," said Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer, in a release. "Giannis has an incredible work ethic and is a leader for the team on and off the court. We are thrilled that he has been deservedly recognized again as one of the league’s All-Stars."

The announcement was made tonight on TNT – who will also televise the All-Star Game on Feb. 17 from Charlotte, as well as the NBA All-Star Game draft on Feb. 7, which Giannis will be in charge of picking against Team LeBron.

It's yet another achievement on Giannis' triumphant, unprecedented Eurostep through the NBA. Next stop: MVP.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
