The Friends of the Domes’ annual music festival, Grooving Under Glass, is back on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. with food, drink, kids entertainment, light shows and, of course, live music at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, 524 S. Layton Blvd.

On the bill this year are Extra Crispy Brass Band, Brylor, David HB Drake and Awake the Echoes.

Plus, there will be storytimes in English and Spanish for the kids.

Food and drink will be on offer from Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern, Double B’s MKE-Style BBQ, Pete’s Fruit Market and Zilli Hospitality.

Tickets, available online, are $15 for Friends of the Domes members, and $18 for the general public. Children 2 and under get in free.

All proceeds benefit Friends of the Domes, which recently unveiled its ambitious The Domes Reimagined plan for the future of the beloved Milwaukee landmark.

“Grooving Under Glass is a fun-filled, get-up-and-dance evening filled with tasty food and beverages,” said Friends of the Domes Executive Director, Christa Beall Diefenbach.

“It is a great opportunity to have a fun evening out while raising critical funds to help ensure a future for our beloved Domes.”
