It's already a big week for lakefront concerts – and we're still days away from the Big Gig's big grounds stage headliners reveal. First, the AmFam Amp announced a rock double bill with Stone Temple Pilots and Live, and now the venue revealed it will host Mexican music sensation Grupo Firme shortly after Summerfest on Saturday, July 13.
The award-winning regional Mexican group behind hits like "Ya Superame," "El Toxico" and more will come to Milwaukee as a part of its "La Ultima Peda" tour.
Tickets for the Grupo Firme show will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster and Live Nation's website, as well as in person at Summerfest's box office. There is, however, also a presale for Citi cardmembers running Tuesday, March 19 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, March 21 at 11:59 p.m. For more information on the presale, click here – and for information on VIP packages for the show, visit vipnation.com.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
