Danny McMahon, the founder of Hacienda Beer Co. in Door County, announced today via Facebook that he will open a tap room and eatery in the former G-Daddy’s BBC Bar and Grill and Hotel Foster building, 2018 E. North Ave.

It is expected to open around May of 2019.

"Over the last few years, we’ve spent a great deal of time in Milwaukee. We’ve been fortunate enough to witness growth in the beer and food industries, and we’ve made a lot of friends along the way. We’re pumped to be a part of this next chapter in the East Side neighborhood," McMahon wrote on Facebook. "Expect to see a lot of juicy IPAs and pale ales, mixed fermentation beers brewed with weird and often times foraged ingredients."

Milwaukee firm 360 Degrees is designing the space and McMahon says it will be unlike any other taproom in the city.
