Celebrating Halloween in bars is a Milwaukee tradition. No surprises there. So here's a list of places hosting hauntingly fun events for those who like to eat, drink and be scary. And check back, this list will be updated regularly!

Moran's Pub "Beetlejames" pop-up/art installation
Entire month of October
4 p.m.

Everyone's favorite obnoxious and devious "bio-exorcist" comes to life inside Moran's Pub, 912 S. Milwaukee Ave. in South Milwaukee. The entire bar is a tribute to the cult-favorite film with hundreds of creations made by numerous local artists, inspired cocktails, confections, special events and more. Rocky Horror Picture Show
Saturday, Oct. 28
Midnight

Great Scott! It's the perfect time to see this cult classic. It's screening twice this month at The Oriental Theater, 2230 N. Farwell Ave., with the Sensual Daydreams cast who performs live along with the film. Get tickets here.

Fear Garden
Tuesday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Oct. 27
4 p.m.

Pier Garden, 102 N. Water St., will (poof!) turn into Fear Garden for three days. Spooky bingo, a costume party and a daily plant sale are in the plans,  along with ghoulish cocktails and a deliciously devilish food menu.

Nine Below Haunted Mini Golf
Oct. 26-31
5 to 11 p.m.

Milwaukee's only haunted (indoor) mini golf takes place numerous date at Nine Below, 1905 E. North Ave. Play haunted golf while devouring spooky snacks and cocktails. Walk-ins and VIP upgrades are available. More info here.

Haunted Bar Crawl
Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28
4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Participate in this haunted bar crawl in Downtown Milwaukee (participating bars to be announced at a later date). The evenings include free drinks, $2,000-prize costume contest, swag, afterparty and more. Get tickets for one night, two nights or all three nights here.

A Halloween for "The Last Of Us"
Thursday, Oct. 26 - Sunday, Oct. 29
4 p.m. to bar close

The Lost Whale, 2151 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., will transform into a scene from "The Last Of Us," i.e. post-outbreak America. There will be themed drinks, decorations, and tons of references to the show and video game. It's free to attend. More here.

Linneman's Halloween shows
Friday Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28th
8 p.m.

Linneman's Riverwest Inn, 1001 E. Locust St., has Halloween-themed shows all weekend. Three cover bands on Friday (Nineties Again, The Flare Ups and Aliens Exist) and a Grateful-Dead tribute band called "Another One, Halloween" on Saturday.

Walker's Point Haunted Bar Hop
Friday, Oct. 27
8 p.m.

Walker's Pint, Fluid, D.I.X., Fat Daddy's, La Cage and Pop will transform the heart of Walker's Point (2nd Street and National Avenue) into a happening Halloween hotspot with drink specials, a costume contest and more.

Steny's Halloween Party & Costume Contest
Friday, Oct. 27 - NEW DATE!

Wear your Halloween best and swing by Steny's for a $500 first prize Halloween costume contest and an evening of ghoulish goodies.

Bremen Halloween

Club Garibaldi's, 2501 S. Superior St., will be the scene of the crime for a CD Release / Halloween Costume Party. Cat Call Killers will drop their second CD,  “A Certain Level of Darkness," with opening band Louie & the Flashbombs.

Nightmare on Center Street

It's a "creepy cool block party" on Center Street in Riverwest and the whole city's invited. Expect a giant inflatable trampoline park, blood bag cocktails, Kids and Pets Costume Contest (adults are encouraged to come costumed up, too!), local vintage and maker vendors, DJs and more. Promises Haunted Nights Haunted Dance Party

Promises, 538 W. National Ave., will host two haunted evenings of fang-tastic dancing and drinking. Tickets are available in groups of four for $10 each and for sale at the bar. Includes admission to haunted dance party and hot rum cider.

Explorium Third Ward Halloween Costume Contest and Trivia
Tuesday, Oct. 31
7 p.m.

Explorium Third Ward, 143 S. St. Paul Ave., will host an evening of Halloween fun with craft beer, food, a costume contest and trivia.

Halloween Movies in the Sand
Tuesday, Oct. 31
7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Fat Daddy's, 120 W. National Ave., will show "Hocus Pocus" and "Evil Dead Rise" in the spooky and sandy outdoor volleyball courts. Free to watch; VIP packages will be available.
