The '70s and '80s retro dance party is over at Have A Nice Day Café, 1103 N. Old World 3rd St. in Downtown Milwaukee.

The club that opened in 2000 has closed its doors, removed its awnings and crews have already begun to demolish the interior.

Have A Nice Day Café has several locations across the country.

The owners of Have A Nice Day Café are reworking the entire space and opening a new concept that's "hot in Charlotte right now."

One trusted insider source says the new club will be called Suite Milwaukee, modeled after Suite Charlotte, an upscale club in that city's downtown.

SuiteMilwaukee could open as early as the end of November. (-ed the official opening day is December 5, 2008).
