Summer is quickly coming to an end in Milwaukee and we take a few moments to share what we think is hot or not in the latest Heat Index.

Few people or things are hotter right now than the Brewers, who appear poised to clinch their first division championship since 1982. The Brewers are nine games up on the Cardinals in the NL Central and playing their best baseball of the season.

The temperatures are dropping slightly which means it's back-to-school time for many parents, not to mention college campuses, which are welcoming back students for another year.

And last but not least, the recall elections are finally over, hopefully closing the book on an unsightly chapter of the state's history.
