The dress Chloe Dao designed for Nikki Hilton on the fifth episode of this season's Bravo-created "Project Runway" reality show is on display at Lela, 321 N. Broadway. It will be worn by a Hilton look-a-like for a Project Runway party held at the store Wednesday, March 8 at 6 p.m. Party-goers will be able to see the dress up close and personal while sipping and shopping in the Third Ward boutique.
Fans of the show and Lela owners Carrie Arrouet and Stephanie Sherman (the wife of OMC co-founder Jeff Sherman) decided to involve their customers and friends in the race for a winner (the final episode airs tonight). They have collected hundreds of ballots for the three finalists, Chloe, Daniel V. and Santino. Voters are entered to win a $500 shopping spree, have been invited for a photo-op with Nikki Hilton's dress and will join them tonight to view a live screening of the finale.
